Manuscript relating to Revolutionary privateers of Connecticut, vessels built in Connecticut for the Continental Navy, biographical sketches of Connecticut officers of Revolutionary vessels; written on scrap paper, back of announcements, and some with newspaper clippings pasted on the sheets. The manuscript was eventually published as "Revolutionary Privateers of Connecticut, With an Account of the State Cruisers, and a Short History of the Continental Naval Vessels Built in the State, and Lists of Officers and Crews," in Records and Papers of the New London County Historical Society, vol. 1, pt. 4. New London: the society, 1892.
